Great experience staying at Cotton Bay Resort and Spa. The rooms were clean and tidy with seaview. Great food choices, clean pool onsite with seaview. Having visited many hotels in Australia, it's impressive how this hotel also maintains high standards in terms of safety, and quality of service for their customers!The Manager,Mr Ashok Mooroteea is very professional, friendly and approachable. Highly recommend the hotel to anyone who wants to enjoy a safe and relaxing time with their family. Many thanks again to all the staffs especially Mr Mooroteea for their professional service.

Rooms recently renovated and were good and comfortable, the newly constructed blocks are great. Restaurant Service, Bar service and housekeeping were great. Food quality can be improved and please put name tags for every dish, some are marked but a lot are not marked, no differentiation between veg and non veg, veg food in the same cheffing dish as nonveg, lacks variety for breakfast. The pain of our stay is that on the 2 last days of our stay when we decided to stay at the resort, all pool umbrella’s were closed and hotel staff refused to get them open. Despite several complaints, they left guests in the scorching sun claiming there was too much wind… see the video of the wind. Not great ending to an otherwise perfect weekend…

he hotel is magnificent. We were warmly welcomed by two lovely smiles at the reception and then guided to the restaurant for dinner. The theme of the evening was a Rodrigues buffet. All the staff were courteous and attentive. The buffet offered a wide variety of cold dishes, hot options, and desserts. The food was delicious and full of flavor. The Sega dance and music were lively and vibrant, adding a festive atmosphere to the evening. We danced the traditional Sega dance of Rodrigues, and it was truly the highlight of our stay. A heartfelt thank you to all the staff and the General Manager, who warmly welcomed us, took great care of us.

The hotel is in a good location with rooms facing the sea. It could be very successful but lets itself down because of a lack of attention to details. Food offer is average quality. Restaurant service variable. They allow stray dogs into the restaurant area. The VIP room was fine but no tissues in the bathroom, one lightbulb not working, volume on the TV locked so low you cannot hear it and nobody checks to restock the complimentary tea/coffee supplies. The sunbeds on the beach are wooden and so heavy you cannot move them; some are broken and most don't have cushions. The airport transfer service is catastrophic. We were collected from the airport 45 minutes late. To go back, I booked the transfer two days before departure. That evening a customer satisfaction manager dropped by and we told him about our problem getting to the hotel. He said he would ensure that we would have no problem with the return trip. The day we had to leave, I checked the transfer before breakfast. No one had booked our transfer and we were told that we would have to go with another party in less than one hour. If I hadn't checked when I did we might have missed the plane. The director on duty thought that telling us that it wasn't the hotel's fault, but that of the transport company, was sufficient. He clearly didn't understand that as we had booked the service through the hotel, so it was their responsibility. Compared to similar hotels in Mauritius at a similar price, this hotel is below standard and is generally amateurish in its delivery of client service.

I spent 5 days at this hotel with my family during the festive season. While my vacation in Rodrigues was fantastic, I unfortunately cannot give the hotel a positive rating considering the price I paid. It simply did not meet my expectations. Some of my friends who been there before told me the Hotel Manager Mr A.M is very rude I confirmed it. HE EVEN LOOK INTO OTHERS GUEST PLATE while dinning what they take and tell the waitress to charge them for pizzas on a open buffet. No firework on the eve of new year,no animation, no activities proposed I think we are in a retreat hotel. Buffet was boring no good food. 5days there got nearly same food. Despite reporting this to the hotel manager, he did not take our complaint seriously he just say "C'est mon hotel, alors je droit a la decision". We were so down on our vacation because we have planned a good stay at the hotel instead of going out. I cannot wear my favourite dress as the direction has an restriction on dress code. If you're booking to go there please ask for restriction policy otherwise you will be disappointed. I recommend this hotel for his beauty coast only.

We spend our New Year's holidays at the Cotton Bay Resort & Spa in our favourite hotel in Rodrigues Island. My family members and my 2 teenage daughters spend an awesome time at this newly renovated Resort. Food was excellent as well as overall service in all sections, exquise drinks at the Bar every evening was just mind-blowing. The Food, Beverages, Spa , Taxi service and Gym both indoor and outdoor were stunning, service has been upgraded by 101% compared to my last visit before closing of the property in 2023. Special thanks to the whole team without forgetting the Hotel Manager a professional in this Hospitality Industry, who was very always around and very helpful as always. May I wish to point out that this 4* property has a dress code ...trousers and short or long sleeve shirts or Tshirts/Polo shirts for gentleman, no need to fight with the Restaurant Hostesses or the Front Desk staffs or the Manager please show respect to these people delivering a 5* service. Cotton Bay team you rock...we have already booked and confirmed our next stay in Nov 25...until then take great care of yourselves.

First the room was nice, all room are Seaview. Despite having such beautiful hotel the manager Ashok has no manner and cannot handle any complaints made by customers. He always fight and no hospitality, bad manners. I have been there for 2nd time but we still have him in the management. Will not come again if he still here. Food compare to 1st time was a Mauritian chef, food was so good and today has a big difference except the Rodrigues buffet. The food choice of Chef Mewa calebass in poisson sale😂😂, gros pois, curry saumon, logic Chef Mewa I leave my natal country to eat this in a 4 star hotel. Very disappointed for this. Just want to know do we have any head office to drop this complaint. Because the hotel never come back to me with this rude Manager. I will give only 5star to Chef Joset, Amine, Cecille, housekeeping who give good service to us. No good service for restaurant as well.

We stayed at this hotel from January 1st to January 5th, 2025, and booked two rooms. The hotel is absolutely stunning, with rooms that were exceptionally clean and offered a breathtaking view of the beach. The Rodriguais buffet was particularly appetizing, but we were disappointed by the other buffet options. The service was lackluster, and the staff in the restaurant were not welcoming at all. The morning buffet featured the same dishes every day during our five-day stay, which was quite repetitive. There were no animations or entertainment activities, making the evenings very dull. It was especially disappointing given that we paid a premium for the peak season.

Overall it was ok. Dinner need to improve with more seafood. Lack of fish in the dinner. Gym need to have more equipments and opening hour need to be revisited. Family room need to accommodate 5 people. The side bed given is very uncomfortable. The family room was sold for 5 person.
